Justifacts Sales Team Completes NAPBS FCRA Basic Certification
Justifacts Credential Verification, a leading provider of comprehensive background screening, is proud to announce that our entire sales team has completed the FCRA Basic Certification program offered by the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS). The Certification Program provides participants with a core understanding of foundational information to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Our Sales team completed a series of webinar training and successfully passed a certification exam that required a score of 80% or higher.
In order to receive NAPBS basic certification, sales managers received training covered the following topics:
- FCRA Basics — the basic FCRA concepts and terminology, such as “consumer report,” “consumer reporting agency,” “investigative consumer report,” “end user,” etc. and some of the limitations on data that can be included in background screenings.
- CRAs — the five basic duties of Consumer Reporting Agencies under the FCRA.
- The Other Players — the basic rights and duties of end users, furnishers, resellers and consumers under the FCRA.
- FCRA Litigation — Consumer litigation and regulatory enforcement actions under FCRA.
- State Variants — Principal state law variations of the FCRA and addresses the interplay between the FCRA and state alternatives.
This certification further expands our sales managers’ expertise in the best practices of FCRA compliance and regulations within the background screening industry.
