New York Office of Court Administration to increase fees

Special Announcement to all clients:

On April 1, 2019, the State of New York passed their 2019 budget. Among the various increase in taxes and fees is an increase in the fee for obtaining criminal record searches through the Office of Court Administration (OCA). This fee will be increasing to $97 effective upon Governor Cuomo’s signature (anticipated on 04/05/19).

New York legislators have designated this increase to be directed to the “Indigent Legal Services Fund” for the State of NY.
